Nabawy, the accordionist from the Baladi DVD (who is also featured on theTaqasim DVD). Nabawy grew up on Mohammed Ali Street in Cairo, famous for its musicians and dancers. He performed for top Egyptian bellydancers including Soheir Zaki and Nagua Fouad, and since immigrating to New York has been a fixture in the Middle Eastern music and dance scene here. He is a fountain of knowledge on the field and we learn something new every time!
