Solo dance performances (2006) by Ranya with live musicians at two Manhattan “hookah lounges,” where patrons can smoke traditional water pipes, enjoy live music, food and drinks, and maybe dance a bit with the band! These are two full Oriental shows, improvised, one with a fantastic Turkish-gypsy style band and the other with an Arabic band. Each show features a different candle-tray dance in Ranya’s signature style.
